In 2018, our CEO Greg Hayes discovered a problem—buying office furniture sucks.

After furnishing dozens of offices for his old job, Greg realized the average office furniture company falls into one of two categories: high quality, but expensive and slow, or affordable and fast but lacking in quality and service. There wasn’t a great option for companies that wanted to furnish an inspiring office without taking forever or breaking the bank.

He told his story to his friends Sib and Verity, who shared his passion for design, real estate and creating inspiring workplaces. The three of us decided to found Branch. Our mission: make it easy for teams of all sizes to furnish an office you'll love.

What is Branch?

Branch is an office furniture company based in New York City. Founded in 2018 and backed by the same investors behind BuzzFeed, Quip and other great startups, we've helped hundreds of teams in the United States and Canada furnish offices they love.
 
We offer a full line of premium office furniture, from task chairs and desks to conference and lounge solutions, all sold direct to save you time and money. We take care of everything from designing your space to assembling and installing the furniture. We even let you trade in used Branch furniture for credit toward your next purchase. With one of the highest customer satisfacting ratings in the industry, we love helping teams of all sizes furnish inspiring and healthy offices.

Can I see the furniture in person before I buy?

Absolutely. If you're based in the NYC area, we encourage you to make an appointment to stop by our showroom in NoMad. If you're not in NYC, we're happy to conduct a video walkthrough of our showroom to answer any questions about our products. We're also opening a showroom in Toronto soon!

Where do you operate?

We ship our furniture anywhere within the continental United States, and offer white glove installation and Branch Flex service in 30 metro areas: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC Metro, Florida, Georgia, Illinois (Chicago metro), Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan (Detroit metro), Mississippi, New Hampshire (Manchester metro), New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee (Nashville metro), Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin (Milwaukee metro). We also serve the Canadian province of Ontario.

Can I schedule my delivery on a specific date?

When you place an order, we'll reach out to get your preferred date, and connect with your landlord or building facilities manager to make sure we have everything we need to get you set up on time.

Are shipping, assembly and space planning included?

Space planning is always free. We offer free white glove delivery and assembly, concierged by a Branch Associate, for all orders above $1,000 within our service areas. Branch Flex, our trade-in service for used Branch furniture, is free for all qualifying products within a Branch service area. Note that if your building requires union labor for delivery or assembly of furniture, you will be responsible for any additional costs, which we'll review prior to booking your order..

How long will shipping take? 

In stock products ship immediately, and can be delivered and installed in our service areas within 5-15 business days. Larger orders may take additional time, and products that are not in stock may take longer to ship. We'll always let you know how long shipping will take before you order.

How will my products arrive? What can I expect?

If you're eligible for white glove installation with a qualifying order in a Branch service area, we'll connect you with a Branch Associate who will be your single point of contact for your furniture installation. Your Associate will coordinate with the relevant person on your team to arrange delivery, unboxing and assembly at the time that works best for you. If you aren't in a Branch service area, we'll ship your order through ground or freight shipping, depending on size. Filing cabinets and credenzas come assembled in their box, chairs and accessories come in a single box, and individual desks arrive in two boxes.

What products do you offer?

Right now, Branch sells workstation and collaboration products: a standard and standing desk, quad and sixtop benching, an ergonomic chair, filing cabinet and credenza, conference tables, and bistro table and bar stools. We also sell accessories for our furniture, like privacy panels, in-desk power and wire organizers. We're adding a sofa and lounge furniture soon! Request our catalog for the full line. If you like our furniture and wish we sold something else, we'd love to hear from you—there's a good chance we can help.

Why do some products take longer to ship?

We limit our customization options so we can carry more items in inventory and ship them fast. If you order a colorway or option that we don't have in stock, we will make it to order with our overseas manufacturing partner, which takes longer to ship. We'll always let you know when to expect your furniture.

What are the dimensions of each piece?

The dimensions of each of our furniture items can be found on the relevant product page. Contact us on over email or chat if you have questions about packaged dimensions.

How do I assemble Branch furniture?

If your order isn't eligible for white glove installation, it's still easy to put together Branch furniture by yourself. Excluding our benching products, every piece of Branch furniture can be assembled by a single person—the filing cabinet and credenza ship assembled—and comes with all necessary tools. Full assembly instructions are included with your order.
PAYMENT & FINANCING

What forms of payment do you accept?

For online orders, we accept credit card payments through Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We'll also accept Paypal. For larger orders placed through our sales team, payments can be made via credit card, wire transfer or a simple check

Can I finance my order?

We offer financing for select transactions, with fixed monthly installments over 3, 6 or 12 months. For more information, contact our sales team.

WARRANTY & RETURNS

What is your return policy?

All Branch furniture that is maintained in new, undamaged condition is eligible for return within 30 days of delivery. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Our full return policy is here.

What is Branch Flex? 

If you're based in a Branch service area, we'll pick up old Branch furniture free of charge. If we can refurbish and resell it, we'll give you credit toward your next order. Otherwise, we'll recycle it for you. Contact us to learn more about Branch Flex or to schedule a pickup. Branch benching products are ineligible for Flex.

Will I get store credit if I use Branch Flex?

Depending on the age and condition of your furniture, you may be eligible for credit toward your next purchase with Branch when you use Branch Flex. We'll conduct a quick assessment and let you know whether you're eligible for credit prior to pickup.

What is your warranty policy?

Most Branch furniture is backed by a ten year warranty. Our full warranty policy can be found here.
